10 - 12 JANUARY, 2019, AHMEDABAD

Arohan” is this year’s cultural festival of St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Ahmedabad. Every year the college organizes a 3-day cultural extravaganza to bring students together to compete in a variety of events. The festival has developed over the years into so much more: a showcase of spectacle in Dance, Music, Fine Arts, Literature, Dramatics and Sports.

It is a festival where the campus comes alive and every step you take is a step towards new experience, where you can never see it all, but what you do see lasts a lifetime, where friendships are born and memories are made into the soft glow of the Night lights.

It’s a little bubble in space and time of infinite possibility, the place to be in January; and in short the best three days of your life.

Arohan” in it’s purest sense is to climb, to progress and to ascend. Metaphorically it is used in reference to stage created for activities such as Dance, Dramatics and lot more.

Arohan is to move forward, rise from where you are and procure great skill in an artistic pursuit.

Our mission is to create an upsurge in the ability, creativity and technique of young guns to break new grounds on the cultural scene. This is what drives us into this year’s edition.
