I teach courses related to Plant Biotechnology, Recombinant DNA technology, Immunology etc. I mostly prefer to teach with the aid of power point presentations, where I include animations, cartoonic illustrations etc., to make the topics more clear and interesting.

Qualified Joint CSIR-UGC NET for lectureship in Life Sciences in 2004.
My research interests include Molecular Marker studies in plants and studies related to Plant Immunity against stress conditions.
Worked as Research Associate (Trainee) with TERI (The Energy and Resources Institute), New Delhi from Sept 2007 to April 2010.
Worked as Junior Research Fellow in a DBT sponsored project at CPBMB (Centre for Plant Biotechnology and Molecular Biology), Kerala Agricultural University from April 2010 to January 2012.

Participated in the 5-day hands-on workshop on Advanced Molecular Techniques and Bioinformatics held at Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC), Navi Mumbai, from 22nd to 26th July 2019.
Attended ‘ Prof. Satish Maheshwari Memorial Conference Harnessing Green Technology: In Harmony with Nature’ organized by Dept. of Life Sciences, Maharaja Ranjit Singh College of Professional Sciences, Indore from 11th-12th June 2020.
