Dr. Shailesh R. Dave was the former Director of the School of Sciences, senior Professor and former Head of, the P.G. Department of Microbiology and Biotechnology, as well as Coordinator for the Clinical Research Programme of Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He has 42 years of teaching and research experience in the field of Microbiology and Environmental Biotechnology. 38 students have been awarded PhD, and 50 students have completed their M. Phil degrees under his guidance. He is presently Admin director at Xavier research foundation, Loyola Centre for Research and Development, St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous) Campus, Ahmedabad.
