The department offers two Post graduate programmes in MSc Organic Chemistry, MSc Analytical chemistry and Ph.D. The department has over 5000 books and journals. Research being a priority, the department has a central lab facility with high ended equipments and publishes in journals of high impact value. Excellence in teaching, skill development, entrepreneurship, internships, experiential learning, seminars, and organising science competitions are the hallmarks of the department. Graduating students from the department are absorbed by industries and premier institutions of higher education in India and abroad. Students of Chemistry have been excellent in extracurricular activities, social services and in sports.
