• Sanctioned United Nations Sustainable Goal Development Project (UNSGDP, 2-year project) by Xaviers Research Foundation, Ahmedabad on “Screening of bacterial endophytes of Phyllanthus emblica (Indian gooseberry) for anti-oxidant and anti-diabetic potential” for the year 2025-2026 worth Rs. 3,00,000/-. Working on this interdepartmental project along with Fr. Dr. Suresh Antony (Biochemistry and Biotechnology Department, SXCA) and Dr. Rashmi Yadav (Botany Department, SXCA), co-PIs for this project. 
• Best Poster Award in Regional Conference on Microbial Technology and Sustainable Environment held at Gujarat University in March 2009.
