About the Department

The Department of Social Sciences was established in 2024 with the aim of imparting education by offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the field of Social Sciences. In its first initiative, the department offers a B.A. (Honours) in Sociology from June 2024 onwards. Gradually, the department will flourish with other Social Sciences programs in Political Science, Anthropology, Archaeology, Geography, History, Law, Social Work, Development Studies, Cultural Studies, Public Policy and Governance.
