With the conferment of autonomous system to St Xavier’s College, the department of Big Data Analytics has initiated a much enterprising programme in collaboration with TCA, MSc Big Data Analytics. The programme admits 45 students with a background in mathematics. The qualified faculty are known for excellent teaching, making learning easy and skill oriented. Research and internships are priorities and strength of the department. The department has over 500 books. Students who graduate with BDA are absorbed by IT Industry and premier institutions of education in India. Students of BDA have been excellent in extracurricular activities, social outreach and in sports.
