The department offers MSc Mathematics and Ph.D. The department has over 5000 books. Research being a priority, the department has a dedicated computer lab and publishes in journals of high impact value. Excellence in teaching, developing analytical skills, experiential learning, seminars, and organising science competitions are the hallmarks of the department. Graduating students from the department are absorbed by premier institutions of higher education in India and abroad. Students of Mathematics have been excellent in extracurricular activities, social services and in sports.
