With the conferment of autonomous system to St Xavier’s College, the department of Commerce has initiated a much enterprising programme in collaboration with TCS, B.Com Business Process Services. The programme admits 45 students per year. True to the motto of the department, developing skills for business processes and strong decision making, the qualified faculty are known for excellent teaching, making learning easy and skill oriented. Research and internships are priorities and strength of the department. The department has over 500 books. Students who graduate with B.Com BPS are absorbed by Retail Industry, service chain industry and premier institutions of education in India. Students of B.Com BPS have been excellent in extracurricular activities, social outreach and in sports.
