Established in 1956, the department of Zoology offers BSc in Zoology and admits 30 students per year. With the motto of creating minds that nurture nature and rivet towards a clean energy economy, the qualified faculty are known for excellent teaching, mentoring and social outreach. The department offers excellent research and experiential learning opportunities to students. The department has over 2750 books. Students who graduate with Zoology are absorbed by premier institutions of education in India as well as in govt. services. Students of Zoology have been excellent in extracurricular activities, social services and in sports.
