The Department of Chemistry organized an Alumni meet on 9th April 2022 at 04:00 PM onwards. In this event nearly 113 alumni students have registered to participate and more than 50 alumni students have participated in the event. Our HOD Dr. Atul H Makwana Sir has welcomed all the participants and brief them about the development of Department of Chemistry SXCA and also informed the alumni students about their role in the further development of Department of Chemistry as well as college. Dr. Mallika Sanyal who is our Vice Principal, IQAC coordinator and one of our alumni also addressed the gathering and inspire them to be the future organiser and share their responsibility for their own Department as well as college. Our Principal Fr Lancelot D’çruz SJ has given his blessings and share his valuable guidance for Alumni about how institute and alumni come together for better collaboration and development of both. Our respected Alumni, Mr. Vinod Agrawal, Mr. Purvish Bhai, Dr. Prerna Thakor (Surgeon UK), and many students alumni have talked about their happy memories, new challenges of department and how they could help the department for not only development but how department and it’s development can help the society at large. Many alumni students have shown their willingness for the process of developing department of chemistry and college and become the bridge between the institute and society. After completion of the event we have taken refreshments. It’s been a wonderful experience from both the sides.
